Chevrolet uses the ACDelco Technical Delivery System for factory service information. This includes diagnostic troubleshooting guides as well as technical specifications. Our tooling allows us to interact with Chevy vehicles and monitor the onboard systems so that we can verify the vehicle is operating as desired. If we notice any abnormalities, we can make the adjustments or repairs necessary to return the vehicle to "fresh-off-the-line" performance.
COMMON ISSUES
While A/C issues are common in all vehicles, a noted example is the quality of condenser used in many models in the mid-2010’s. These condensers by GM don’t stand up to the test of time and allow refrigerant to escape. The #1 cause of A/C compressor failure is a lack of lubrication which is caused by systems that are not properly charged.
